GreenFOX: The simple complete heat pump system
The smooth operation of an air-to-water heat pump requires not only a correctly dimensioned, powerful heat pump appliance, but also the right hydraulics. The complete system from ÖkoFEN not only supplies the heat pump, hydraulics and smart control from a single source, but also saves a great deal of time and therefore costs thanks to the simplicity and flexibility of the overall system.
Whatever the requirements, the GreenFOX 9/14 and GreenFOX 13/18 heat pumps offer a wide range of hydraulic and control schemes to round off the system as simply as possible. The hydraulic schemes are quick and easy to integrate, a prefabricated foundation can be installed in no time if required and a comprehensive, particularly smart and user-friendly control system helps to get the absolute best out of the heating system.
When you install a GreenFOX heat pump, you not only get everything you need from a single source, but also as simple, practical and uncomplicated as possible.

Compact system saves time and money
No matter which hydraulic scheme is planned or whether solar or PV modules are required - the system includes everything you need. After all, hydraulics can often be a challenge.
With the easily integrated hydraulic diagrams, installation is child's play and you save valuable working time.

Cooling mode is also automatically integrated into the GreenFOX heat pump. This means that no additional material or labor is required.

Heating and cooling mode with system storage tank
The new system cylinder with 800 l or 1000 l water volume and additional layer separation guarantees long running times and enables trouble-free operation in line with the mains. The hydraulic connection set for system cylinders with two valves ensures intelligent switching between heating and hot water operation.
All components can be fitted to the system cylinder as usual. Cooling mode is enabled by manual switchover upstream of the heating circuit manifold.

As an option, the heat pump system cylinder with 800 l or 1000 l water volume can be equipped with a solar register smooth tube heat exchanger. The hydraulic connection set for the system cylinder with two valves ensures intelligent switching between heating and hot water operation.
Cooling mode is enabled by manual switchover upstream of the heating circuit manifold.

Heating and cooling operation with combined storage tank
With the hydraulic connection set for combi and double cylinders and just one valve, it is possible not only to heat with the GreenFOX heat pump, but also to actively cool. Unlike in heating mode, the circuit is reversed here and cold water flows through the system. To use this function, a surface heating system such as underfloor, wall or ceiling heating should be present in the heat distribution.
For the usual hot water comfort, it is also important to decouple the buffer cylinder from the hot water cylinder in terms of layers.

Heating and cooling operation with double buffer tank and fresh water station
The hydraulic connection set for combi and double cylinders in conjunction with a double buffer cylinder enables both heating and cooling operation of the system as well as hygienic hot water preparation with a fresh water module. The perfect solution for the highest demands!

Cooling function as an integrated system solution
Naturally, the smart GreenFOX heat pump has an integrated cooling function. The hydraulic components are a simple system solution and can therefore be used without any additional effort. When cooling with a heat pump, the heating circuit is reversed and cold water flows through the system.
Cooling process with a heat pump
The cooling process with a heat pump begins with the absorption of heat from the interior, which it converts into a medium with a low temperature level. The refrigerant is then compressed in the heat pump, which releases the absorbed heat to the outside environment. The refrigerant is expanded and its pressure and temperature drop. The cold refrigerant absorbs heat from the interior again and the cycle repeats.

The “do-it-yourself prefabricated foundation”
Minimum effort, maximum practicality: with the do-it-yourself prefabricated foundation made of high-quality stainless steel, the preparatory work for setting up the outdoor unit is child's play: simply dig out, create a gravel base, set up the prefabricated foundation, align and fill with gravel. DONE.

A smart control system rounds off the complete system and gets the most out of the heating. With the “GreenMode”, it is possible for the first time to heat with a heat pump in a CO2-optimized, electricity price-optimized or solar power-optimized way. And with the myPelletronic 2.0 app, settings can be made easily at any time and from anywhere using a smartphone.
