The independent award of approval for the environment and quality

The Austrian Eco-label is awarded by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology to particularly low-emission and efficient products in the field of wood heating systems (UZ 37).

This year, in 2022, ÖkoFEN Forschungs- und Entwicklungs Ges.m.b.H. was again awarded the Austrian Eco-label for all models of our pellet heaters after a comprehensive audit.

The following categories were evaluated:

• Technology: low emissions, efficient technology and standard-tested, high-quality heating components.
• Durability: long availability of spare parts
• Customer service: Information provided by the manufacturer on technical details, correct storage and correct heating
• Suitable fuel: use of a biomass fuel
